Erick Gill

Erick Gill has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Erick is currently serving as the Communications Division Director for the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners since 2016. In this role, they are responsible for managing the county's website, government access channel, and social media platforms. Erick also serves as the spokesperson and media contact for the commissioners and county departments. Erick has previously worked as the Public Information Manager for the same county, where they wrote and distributed press releases, managed the county website, and hosted shows for the government access channel. Prior to their work in government communications, Erick served as a Marketing & Public Relations Specialist and Film Commissioner, attracting and hosting travel writers and film crews. Erick has also worked as a Contributing Writer for Vero Beach Magazine, Marketing Director for Riverside Theatre, Environmental Reporter for Sun Journal, and Sports Reporter for Burlington Times-News. Throughout their career, Erick has received numerous awards for their work in public relations and communications.

Erick Gill attended Elon University from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a degree in Journalism. During this time, they focused their studies on Journalism as well as Communications/Film.
