Roshawnda Thompson has extensive experience in budgeting, contracts coordination, and accounting across various organizations. Currently, Roshawnda serves as Budgets and Contracts Coordinator and Office Operations Specialist for the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners since April 2017. Previously, Roshawnda worked as Bookkeeper II at the Council on Aging of Saint Lucie County from 2013 to April 2017 and as a Behavior Tech with the St. Lucie County School Board from April 2012 to June 2013, applying principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Roshawnda also held the position of District Manager at Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers from September 2004 to January 2011, where key responsibilities included optimizing service routes and managing contractor agreements. Roshawnda holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Bethune-Cookman University.
