Michael Wang

Michael Wang is the current Head of Product Design at Treasure Financial. Prior to this, they were the Head of Product Design at WePay from November 2017 to December 2021. Michael was also the Principal Product Designer at hello network, inc. from March 2016 to November 2017 and at FanKave from November 2013 to February 2016.

At WePay, Wang led the product and feature direction, goal creation and vision. Michael also designed features end to end, collaborating with sales, CX, support, Eng, and Product. Furthermore, they managed the design team full stack execution across 2 SAAS platforms, web, and internal. Lastly, they supported business, product, and financial goals.

At hello network, inc., Wang was responsible for deeply understanding user’s needs/behaviors, balanced with business goals of retention and growth. Michael also led the end-to-end design of mobile social app, Hello. In addition, they mentored junior designers around UI/UX, product, and branding. Finally, they worked closely with Product, Engineering, and co-founders to guide ideas into polished UI/UX.

At FanKave, Wang was the Principal Product Designer.

Michael Wang completed a Bachelor's degree in Digital Design at the University of Cincinnati.

Michael Wang reports to Sam Strasser, Founder & CEO. They work with Derek Evjenth - Director, Sales, Scott Williams - Chief Compliance Officer, and Matthew Clower - CTO.
