Erik Åkerlund

Erik Åkerlund has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and industries. Erik began their career in 2005 as a Sales Representative at Campuz Mobile, Vodafone, and Telenor. In 2008, they worked briefly as an Event Representative at Berntson AB.

In 2009, Erik joined KF Shared Services AB as an Accounting Clerk. In 2011, they moved to Coop Sverige, where they worked as a Process Expert in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments. During this time, they focused on process improvement and outsourcing partnerships.

In 2014, Erik joined Treasury Systems as a Financial Consultant, where they implemented and supported a treasury management system (TMS) called CRM Finance Web. Erik also played a role in marketing Treasury Systems as a leading TMS supplier. In 2017, they transitioned to Head of Sales at the same company, and in 2022, they became the Chief Executive Officer.

Erik's work experience demonstrates their ability to adapt to different roles and industries while gaining expertise in finance, sales, and process improvement.

Erik Åkerlund obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Economics with a specialization in Corporate Finance or Accounting from Lund University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2009, Erik attended Newcastle University for a business-related course, although the degree obtained is unknown. Additionally, in March 2019, Erik Åkerlund acquired a certification as a Freshdesk product expert from Freshworks.
