Bo McCall

Bo McCall has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Their most recent position is as the Principal Innovation Analyst in the Innovation Team of the Budget and Financial Planning Department at Johnson County, KS Government. Prior to this, they worked as the Regional Information Officer for Region 7 (IA, KS, MO, NE) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Before joining HHS, Bo worked as a Senior Performance Management Analyst in the City Manager's Office at the City of Kansas City, MO. They also gained experience as a Management Analyst Intern at the City of Olathe. Bo has a background in research, having worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Kansas. They also have experience in a management role, having served as an Assistant General Manager at Element Fitness. Additionally, Bo has previous experience as a Performing Artist, Songwriter, and Guitarist at Antennas Up, The Magnetics.

Bo McCall earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) with an emphasis in Performance Management from The University of Kansas, which took place from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, Bo obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Economics, with a co-major in International Studies from The University of Kansas. Bo also participated in a Direct Foreign Exchange Program at the University of Newcastle, studying International Economics. In terms of additional certifications, Bo received the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2023, and the Project Management Essentials Certificate from Purdue University in May 2023. Bo also completed various other certificates including the ArcGIS Pro: Essential Workflows Certificate from Esri in December 2019, the Successful Facilitator Certificate from the Mid-America Regional Council in January 2019, the Applied Data Analytics Training Program from the Coleridge Initiative in July 2018, the Performance Management Graduate Certificate from The University of Kansas in December 2016, and the Community Economic Development Certificate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in June 2014.
