Sarah Smith, PE has extensive work experience in engineering. Sarah started their career in 2004 as a Project Engineer at GBA (George Butler Associates) where they worked until 2013. In 2013, they joined Johnson County, KS Government where they initially served as a Senior Stormwater Engineer. Currently, they hold the position of Lead Program Engineer at the same company.

Sarah Smith, PE began their educational journey in 1998 at The University of Kansas, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Architectural Engineering in 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further specialization in the field of Water Resources Engineering, enrolling at The University of Kansas once again. Sarah successfully completed their Master of Civil Engineering (MCE) degree in 2006.

In addition to their academic accomplishments, Sarah Smith, PE has acquired extra certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Sarah is PACP Certified by NASSCO, Inc., indicating their proficiency in Pipeline Assessment Certification Program. Furthermore, they hold the title of Professional Engineer (PE) granted by the Kansas Board of Technical Professions, demonstrating their recognition as a highly skilled engineer in their field.
