Babette Norman

Babette Norman has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. In their most recent role as Vice President Operations at Treatt, they directed the development and implementation of competency management, system and capability building. Prior to that, they served as the Operations Director, responsible for driving a manufacturing site and leading change management. Babette also worked as a Manufacturing Excellence Manager at Treatt and as a Continuous Improvement Consultant at PDCA, where they provided guidance and training to organizations. Babette has experience in production management, having served as a Production Manager at QUALITY PRODUCTS INC. Babette also worked at Unilever as a Manufacturing Excellence Manager, Asset Care Engineer, and Total Productive Manufacturing Engineer. Additionally, they have worked as a Feasibility Engineer at MANHATTAN MINING & TRUST LLC and as a Researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).

Babette Norman completed their education as follows:

In 1997, they enrolled at the University of the Witwatersrand and earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 2001. Following this, in 2004 and 2005, they pursued a Graduate Diploma in Engineering with a focus on Project Management at the same institution.

In 2006, Babette attended the Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance, where they became a TPM Instructor for an unspecified period of time.

Later, in 2020, they acquired a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from External Sites, specializing in Six Sigma methodologies.

Furthermore, Babette obtained a certification titled "How to Beat Burnout, Exhaustion, and Stress" from LinkedIn in March 2022.
