M.D. Atiqur Rahaman

Md Atiqur Rahaman is currently a Solar PV Performance Associate at Treaty Oak Clean Energy since July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from July 2019 to July 2025, where performance models for floating solar PV systems were developed, achieving a 72% improvement in prediction accuracy, and sustainability assessments were conducted using a multidimensional framework. Earlier roles include a Lectureship at Southern University Bangladesh from May 2014 to December 2018, focusing on student mentorship and curriculum enhancement related to a World Bank-funded project. Md Atiqur Rahaman holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a B.Sc in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology.
