Marcelo Nicácio

Marcelo Nicácio, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Marcelo is currently serving as the IT Executive Director at Tredegar Corporation since May 2019. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Strategic IT Committee at Amcham-Brasil starting in May 2018.

From September 2018 to April 2019, Marcelo held the position of Executive Director at TERPHANE. Before that, they worked as the IST Manager at TERPHANE from December 2015 to August 2018.

Marcelo also has significant experience at Areva, where they served as the CIO & Facilities Manager from July 2014 to August 2015. Additionally, they held the role of IST Manager Latin America from April 2010 to June 2014 and IT Coordinator from October 2007 to March 2010 at Areva.

Prior to their roles at Areva, Marcelo worked at Koblitz S.A as a Support Analyst from October 2005 to September 2007. Marcelo also served as an IT Assistant from January 2003 to September 2005 and started their career as an Intern in the IT department from September 2001 to January 2003.

Marcelo's early career includes a role as a Maintenance Assistant at Suporte Engenharia e Comercio Ltda. from April 2000 to September 2001.

Marcelo Nicácio, MBA, has a strong education history and a diverse range of certifications. Marcelo obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in IT Management from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco in 2009. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Computer Science at the Universidade Católica de Pernambuco from 2001 to 2006.

In addition to their academic achievements, Marcelo Nicácio has also pursued several certifications to enhance their professional skills. These include the Cybersecurity Professional Bootcamp- Certificate of Achievement and the Cybersecurity Professional Bootcamp- Offensive Security: Ethical Hacking, both obtained from Old Dominion University in November 2022. Marcelo also completed the Leading Customer-Centric Growth program at The Wharton School in October 2021.
