Celia Monthieux Marugán

Celia Monthieux Marugán has a diverse work experience, primarily in translation and linguistics. Celia is currently working at Tree-Nation as the Translation Manager, where they are responsible for creating and managing the translation department, managing SEO in multiple languages, and recruiting and managing volunteers for translation and other tasks. Prior to this, they worked at CCC - powered by TELUS International as a Content Moderator. Before that, they served as a Computational Linguist at Chenope. Celia also gained experience in cinematographic translation through an internship at Satori Films, where they worked on subtitling and translating scenarios and documents for the post-production of a documentary. Celia has additional experience as a French to Spanish and Spanish to French interpreter and translator at Aix-Marseille Université and has worked in customer service and coordination roles at Eurostage and Art Escudellers.

Celia Monthieux Marugán pursued their education at various institutions. From 2013 to 2016, they attended Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III, where they obtained a French Literature Degree (Lettres Modernes) with a focus on Langue et littérature françaises. Later, from 2016 to 2018, they enrolled in Aix-Marseille University, where they pursued a Master's degree in French-Spanish Literary Translation, specializing in Traduction et interprétation. Additionally, in April 2022, Celia obtained a certification in SEO: Keyword Strategy from LinkedIn.
