Oriana Medina

Oriana Medina has a diverse work experience starting in 2014 as an Assistant to a Project at Universidad Simón Bolívar, where they were responsible for developing plans for sewer and drainage systems, developing plans for building use in the Caracas metropolitan area, and transcribing recordings. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Caracas Mi Convive as a Coordinator, where they coordinated activities and research, and as a Researcher, where they conducted research. In 2020, they worked as a Virtual Analyst at Viva - Virtual Analysts. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Program and Operations Officer at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, where they were involved in program and operational management. Currently, they are working as a Junior Project Manager at Tree-Nation.

Oriana Medina has a well-rounded education history in the field of urban planning. In 2005, they completed their high school education at U.E. Escuela Comunitaria. Following this, Oriana pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Urban Planning at Universidad Simón Bolívar from 2010 to 2017. Oriana'seducational journey continued as they recently completed a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2022 to 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Oriana has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they earned a certification in Basic ArcGis from the Instituto de Estudios Regionales Urbanos - USB. Oriana further enhanced their skills by completing courses in Photoshop and Illustrator at Instituto ARTS in 2013. Oriana's commitment to humanitarian causes is evident from their obtained certifications in Livelihoods programming course from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in 2022 and First Aid from the Venezuelan Red Cross in 2022.
