Roger Jones

Art Director at Tree Room

Roger Jones has extensive experience in the field of design and art direction. Roger started their career in 1996 as an Art Director at Axiom Design Partners and later worked as an Art Director at Sun Valley Company, where they oversaw the production of sales catalogs. In 2000, they joined the Salt Lake Organizing Committee 2002 as a Senior Designer and was responsible for the creative execution of the 2002 Cultural Olympiad. Roger also worked as a Senior Designer at PlayStation for a brief period that same year. In 2003, they became the Creative Director and Owner of Poolhouse Design, where they developed systems for workflow and project management. Roger also worked directly with clients and various stakeholders to take projects from creation to execution. During the same year, they joined Sundance Mountain Resort as an Art Director, where they created the overall look and feel for various events and developed branding elements for different areas of the resort. In 2005, they became an Art Director at SUREFOOT and Westminster College, working on annual reports, alumni magazines, and collaborating with printers, photographers, and marketing directors. In 2010, they joined PBS Utah as an Art Director, where they partnered closely with a team to create strong identities for programs produced for PBS Utah and directed the production of a monthly program guide. Lastly, from 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Designer at FiveCurrents, contributing to the Istanbul 2020 Summer Olympic bid presentation and working on the Clinton Global Initiative convention.

However, it is known that they attended ArtCenter College of Design and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Graphics and Packaging. Additionally, they studied at the University of Utah and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology.
