Karen Zumach

Karen Zumach is the Director of Community Forestry at Tree Trust. Karen has over 20 years of experience in the environmental field, including working as a field geologist, gardener, and project geologist. Karen has a passion for environmental stewardship and has worked on several large-scale projects aimed at improving the environment.

Karen Zumach has a BS in Horticultural Science from the University of Connecticut and a BS in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Connecticut.

Karen Zumach reports to Jared Smith, Executive Director. They are on a team with Bjorn Hawes - Landscape Services Business Operations Manager, Maja Numainville - Senior Manager Program Operations, and Shannon Sullivan - Program Manager, Tree Trust.
