Erwan Bezard

Erwan Bezard is a prominent neuroscientist and researcher with extensive experience in neurobiology, particularly focusing on Parkinson's disease and related disorders. As a Co-Founder and Scientific Board Member at SE-Therapeutics since July 2021, Bezard also serves as a Research Director at the Institut des Maladies Neurodégénératives CNRS UMR 5293, where over 340 professional publications have been authored or co-authored. Notably recognized in the top echelons of neuroscientists according to Clarivate, Bezard's research encompasses compensatory mechanisms in Parkinson's disease, the pathophysiology of levodopa-induced dyskinesia, and innovative strategies to alleviate symptoms of the disease. Additional roles include Chief Executive and Scientific Officer at Motac Neuroscience Ltd and Co-Founder and Consultant at TreeFrog Therapeutics, along with a tenure as Visiting Professor at the China Academy of Medical Sciences until November 2023.
