Jérôme Hardoüin

Head of Innovation - Physics at TreeFrog Therapeutics

Jérôme Hardoüin has a diverse range of work experience. Jérôme is currently serving as the Head of Innovation - Physics at TreeFrog Therapeutics since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a PHD Graduate Student at Universitat de Barcelona from September 2016 to January 2020, where their research focused on Active Liquid Crystals in Confinement.

In 2016, Jérôme worked as a Business Analyst at PJX10, where they were involved in investigating various markets to identify potential business opportunities. Jérôme gained experience in skills such as breaking down a business plan, working as a consultant, and designing and pitching a mockup company.

In addition to this, Jérôme has also completed research internships at S3 - Swiss Space Systems in 2015, where they studied the aerodynamics of a space shuttle re-entry, and at ESPCI Paris - PSL in 2015, where they focused on the design and control of a robotic microswimmer.

Jérôme also worked as a research intern at Université de Liège (ULg) in 2014, studying charged droplets in microgravity. Jérôme'searliest work experience was as a Production Intern at Safran in 2013, where they implemented lean management techniques to optimize the production line of SaM146 engine.

Throughout their work experience, Jérôme has gained a diverse skill set and expertise in various areas such as innovation, physics, research, analytics, and production optimization.

Jérôme Hardoüin began their education at École Polytechnique in 2011, where they pursued a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Hydrodynamics, completing their studies in 2015. Following this, they attended ISAE-SUPAERO from 2014 to 2015, earning a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering. Continuing their academic pursuits, Jérôme then joined Universitat de Barcelona in 2016 and graduated in 2020 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biophysics.
