Jurgen Biesemans

Jurgen Biesemans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Jurgen is currently working as the Facility & Infrastructure Manager at TreeFrog Therapeutics since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Bioingénieur industriel at LABEXA from May 2019 to October 2021. Jurgen also served as a Production Process Leader at GSK Consumer Healthcare from October 2015 to November 2018, and as an Ingénieur OPEX engineer - operational excellence from March 2015 to October 2015. Before joining GSK, they worked at Novartis Consumer Health as an OPEX engineer - operational excellence from June 2014 to February 2015 and as a Chef de projet senior from August 2012 to June 2014. Jurgen gained experience as an Ingénieur gestion de projets at SPsolutions from June 2008 to July 2012. Furthermore, they worked as an Ingénieur chef de projet at Merck Serono from 2009 to 2011 and as a Dessinateur technique - département R&D at Schneider Electric from March 2005 to December 2007, where they were involved in the conception, modification, and evaluation of mechanical parts and materials.

Jurgen Biesemans obtained a Master of Science in Bioscience Engineering with a specialization in Bio-ingénieur en chimie - alimentation from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which they attended from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science in Industrial Sciences with a focus on Ingénieur industriel en emballage et conditionnement from XIOS Hogeschool Limburg, where they studied from 1997 to 2001.

In terms of additional certifications, Jurgen Biesemans obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2015.
