In 2013, Dipak worked as a Jini Developer for a freelance project and also co-founded Birthday Forest, a non-profit organization that plants trees on birthdays and other occasions. Dipak also worked as a Development Manager at Wakhok Nepal, where their role involved leading a Java team and working with technologies like akka, cassandra, angularjs, play framework, and apigee api.
From December 2011 to May 2013, they worked as a Software Architect at Vayam Solution, where they designed software on various platforms such as .NET, Python with django framework, C++ with qt, PHP with symfony2 and code ignitor.
Dipak started their career as a freelancer, working with PHP and later transitioning to .NET C# for both desktop and web applications until 2011.
Dipak Malla completed their education with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computing from the University of Portsmouth. Dipak attended the university from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, Malla attended Gorkha United Public School from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained an SLC degree in science.
