Ryan DiRisio has extensive work experience in the field of scientific computing and research. In 2017, they started working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where their research focused on nuclear quantum effects and quantum dynamics in molecules. Ryan collaborated closely with experimental spectroscopists to understand the fundamental structure and physics of molecular systems. Additionally, Ryan also served as a Teaching Assistant for CHEM 475/550, where they provided support to undergraduate and graduate students in quantum chemistry. In 2022, they joined Treeline Biosciences as a Scientific Computing Engineer, where they are currently working.
Ryan DiRisio completed their education in a chronological manner. Ryan first attended William & Mary from 2013 to 2017, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, with a minor in Computer Science. Following this, Ryan pursued further studies at the University of Washington from 2017 to 2022. Ryan successfully earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theoretical Chemistry.
