Rob Pedley has extensive experience in conservation and volunteering, currently serving as a volunteer focusing on surveys and practical conservation at RSPB since February 2018. With a long-standing commitment to conservation, Rob has been a Conservation Week Group Leader at Trees for Life since August 2005, guiding groups in the Highlands of Scotland. Additionally, Rob holds a Trustee position on the Board of Trustees for Trees for Life. Previously, Rob contributed as a Trustee and Support Volunteer at Muddy Fork from November 2016 to January 2018, where responsibilities included financial oversight for initiatives supporting individuals facing mental health challenges through gardening and conservation. Earlier in their career, Rob worked for the British Geological Survey from 1990 to 2016 as an Application Architect, leading development projects in geoscience applications. Rob earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Aberystwyth University, complemented by earlier education at Thorpe Grammar in Norwich.
