Eric Gunther is a versatile professional with extensive experience in engineering and research roles. Currently serving as a Cycling Guide at Trek Travel since April 2021, Eric is pursuing a passion for active tourism after a career in engineering. Eric's previous positions include Test Engineer at Medtronic, Biomedical Engineer and Consulting Engineer at Precision Biopsy, and Graduate Research Assistant at Assistive Technology Partners, where innovative projects such as an RFID-based indoor-positioning system were developed. Additional research experience includes contributions as a Cardiology Research Assistant at National Jewish Health, focusing on advanced cardiac imaging techniques, and a Professional Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Boulder, examining anti-cancer compounds. Eric holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Harvey Mudd College.
