Debra Chromy's work experience includes serving as the President and CEO of Trellis Company since 2021. Debra is also a Member of Chief since 2022. Previously, they were the President of the Education Finance Council from 2014 to 2021. Debra also held the position of President at the Cambridge Smith College Club from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they held various Vice President roles at American Student Assistance from 1997 to 2013. Debra also served as Vice President at Key Education Resources in 1996 and as Vice President of Marketing & Product Development at Knight College Resource Group from 1994 to 1997.
Debra Chromy's education history includes earning an A.B. degree in Economics from Smith College, which they obtained from 1980 to 1984. Later, they pursued an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University between 1996 and 1999. Lastly, they completed an Ed.D. degree with a focus on Higher Education Management at the University of Pennsylvania from 2004 to 2006.
