Scott Brandt

Scott Brandt has extensive experience in information security and IT infrastructure, serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Director of IT Infrastructure at Trellis from March 2020 to January 2024, where responsibilities included advising executive management on cyber security and IT operations. Prior roles at Trellis included Information Technology Manager and Senior Security Architect, focusing on system security and risk assessments. Before Trellis, Scott served as Chief Information Officer and Information Security Officer at The Office of the Texas Secretary of State, overseeing crucial election data security. Earlier positions at the Texas Workforce Commission included Director of Distributed Systems and Manager of the Local Area Network and Workstation Group, where Scott established security policies and led IT teams. Scott began a career in quality assurance at Applied Materials and holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
