Andy Brown has had extensive work experience in communications and engagement roles. Andy is currently the Vice President of Communications and Engagement at Trellis, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, starting as a Senior Communications Specialist in March 2010 and progressing to Director of Communications in July 2016. At Wilder, they managed internal and external communications, developed social media and web strategies, and supported fundraising and public relations efforts. Andy also worked as an Editor/Proofreader at Go East, proofreading and editing marketing materials. Andy's early career included a role as an Assistant Editor at The Sportsman's Guide, where they edited copy for a sporting goods catalog and managed production deadlines. Overall, Andy's career has focused on communications, marketing, and managing various aspects of digital and print media.
Andy Brown completed their high school education at Blaine High School from 1997 to 2001 and received a high school degree. After that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in English at Gustavus Adolphus College from 2001 to 2005.
