Brent Shafer

Brent Shafer currently serves as the Head of North America - Corporate Development at The Hansong Group, a global leader in design, engineering, and manufacturing, since May 2023. As a co-founder of Outpost and principal at Batshit Crazy Ventures, Brent has significant experience in venture capital and deal flow. Previous roles include strategy and product focus at TrellisSoft, Inc., and founder and CEO of Vuevent Inc., which was acquired in 2018. Additional experience encompasses various internships and positions across companies like Absolute Performance Inc. and OnRule, contributing to a strong foundation in business analysis and product development. Brent received education from the University of Colorado Boulder and Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, following early education at Peak to Peak Charter School.
