Bernard Sapaden

Bernard Sapaden is a seasoned security researcher with extensive experience in email threat protection and malware analysis. Currently serving as a Staff Security Researcher at Trellix since January 2022, Bernard previously held the role of Sr. Security Researcher at FireEye, Inc., where solutions for email threat protection were developed using machine learning and deep learning models. Bernard's prior experience includes significant roles at McAfee, GFI Software, eSoft Incorporated, and Trend Micro, focusing on malware detection, remediation technology, and the optimization of antivirus engines. Bernard began a career in academia as a College Instructor at Don Bosco Technical College, specializing in electronic circuits and micro-controllers. Bernard holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Don Bosco Technical College.
