Brian Gin

Brian Gin is a seasoned privacy professional currently serving as the Chief Privacy Officer at Trellix since May 2022. Prior to this role, Brian was the Director of the University Privacy Office at Stanford University, where responsibilities included managing privacy initiatives related to educational and research activities. Previously, Brian held the position of Director, Legal, Global Privacy at Cisco, leading the integration of privacy into business processes and incident response efforts. Early career experiences include being an attorney at Axiom, Walt Disney Internet Group, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, as well as co-founding Brightening Minds, Inc. Brian holds a JD from Columbia Law School and an AB in Human Biology from Stanford University.
