John Fokker

John Fokker is the Head of Trellix Threat Intelligence at Trellix, responsible for leading the Threat Intelligence Group and providing critical insights on the threat landscape. Fokker previously held roles as Director and Principal Engineer overseeing cyber investigations at Trellix and McAfee, focusing on collaborative efforts with law enforcement on cybercrime and nation-state investigations. Additionally, Fokker's experience includes leadership positions in data science and digital forensics at Politie Nederland, contributing to initiatives like the "No More Ransom" project. Fokker has a solid foundation in military operations from service in the Korps Mariniers and holds a Master's degree in Criminal Investigation with a focus on Digital Investigations from Politieacademie Apeldoorn, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
