Melanie Calvanese

Melanie Calvanese, MBA, currently serves as the SLED Sales Director for Trellix, where responsibilities include leading sales efforts in the U.S. and promoting advanced cyber threat intelligence solutions. Prior to Trellix, Melanie held multiple roles at McAfee, including Major Account Executive and Account Executive for SLED/Healthcare, focusing on device-to-cloud cybersecurity solutions. Melanie also gained experience at VMware as an Account Executive for SLED Strategic Accounts and significantly boosted international sales as Sales Director for Latin America at Integra Optics, Inc. Earlier career positions include Director of Marketing and Public Relations at JR Sports Enterprises and bilingual sales roles at SEPSA North America, complemented by teaching Spanish at Guilderland and Niskayuna High Schools. Melanie holds an MBA from the University at Albany, a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Secondary Education/Spanish from Clarkson University Graduate School, and a BA in Spanish/History from the University at Albany.
