Pavan Kumar Podila

Pavan Kumar Podila is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a robust background in threat research and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Threat Research at Trellix since January 2022, Pavan leads teams focused on Endpoint Threat Research, Efficacy, and Product Security Engineering, emphasizing reliable measurements against cyber threats and enhancing endpoint detection technologies. Prior to Trellix, Pavan held the position of Director of Engineering at McAfee Enterprise from April 2007 to January 2022, overseeing product quality and strategy for endpoint and cloud security offerings. Pavan's career began as a Software Engineer at Interface Cybertech, followed by a role as Project Lead at Applabs, where responsibilities included managing multiple customer projects and teams. Pavan holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Indira Gandhi National Open University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Avanthi Degree College.
