Ed Omahen

Ed Omahen serves as General Manager at TREMEC since February 2018. Prior to this role, Ed amassed extensive experience at General Motors from 1991 to 2018, holding various positions including Assistant Plant Manager and Engineering Director, where responsibilities encompassed Engineering, Launch, and Production activities for key powertrain components. Ed also held roles in Engineering and Launch Management, overseeing significant upgrades and assembly operations. Earlier positions included Production Operations Manager and Engineering Manager, with a focus on process development and manufacturing. Ed's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an Electrical Minor from General Motors Institute (Kettering) and dual Master of Business Administration degrees from Wayne State University.
