Dr. Bahadir Basdere

Dr. Bahadir Basdere serves as the Group CEO of Trench Group since April 2024. Prior to this role, Dr. Basdere held the position of Senior Vice President for Bushings, Instrument Transformers & Coils at Siemens Energy from December 2018 to March 2024, overseeing a global business with a network of 10 factories. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President & CEO of Liquid Immersed Distribution Transformers at Siemens from August 2014 to December 2018, where Dr. Basdere managed a business with 7 factories and over 1700 employees. Dr. Basdere was also the CEO and Head of Board at Turbine Airfoil Coating and Repair GmbH from April 2011 to July 2014. Additional roles at Siemens Energy included leadership in manufacturing technologies and quality processes at the Gas Turbine Plant in Berlin. Educational credentials include a Doktor Ingenieur in Assembly Technology & Factory Management from Technische Universität Berlin and an Enterprise Leadership Program from THNK School of Leadership, among others.
