Muhammad Haroon

Muhammad Haroon is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Head of Information Security at Trench Group since April 2024, Muhammad has previously held significant positions including Group Head of IT Security at Scope Group and Head of Information Security at PIE - Payment International Enterprise. Additionally, Muhammad has contributed to the OWASP Foundation as Chapter Leader in Manama, Bahrain, and has founded OWASP Chapters in Oman and Pakistan. With a background as a Principal Consultant at both Sovereign Secure and Checksum Consultancy, along with managerial experience at Electronia and Ernst & Young, Muhammad holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Arid Agriculture University, completed in 2008.
