Koichiro Tokuoka

Koichiro Tokuoka has served as an Independent Outside Director at Trend Micro since March 2023.

After working in the Human Resources Department of Nissan Motor Co. and Nissan Europe, he served as SVP/Partner of FleishmanHillard Japan in the areas of HR systems, culture reform, internal communication, reputation management, and leadership development.

Since 2006, he has also served as a professor at the Tama Graduate School of Business, where he is the dean of the graduate school. In 2017, he founded Life Shift Inc. He is also the author of multiple books, including Innovatorship and MBB: Management by belief (co-authored with Professors Ikujiro Nonaka and Kazuo Ichijo).
