Lucas van Den Berg

Lucas van den Berg serves as the Head of Incident Response Europe and Global Red Team at Trend Micro, overseeing operations and strategy for a global team since September 2019. Previously, Lucas held the role of Interim Manager for the Americas Incident Response team, focusing on global alignment and readiness for success. As the founder of Whiskybaas.nl, Lucas provided whisky and cigar tastings from July 2018 to November 2024. Prior roles include Network and Security Architect at NL-ix, where responsibility spanned a substantial network infrastructure, and Senior Network & Security Consultant for various ISPs and entities. Experience also includes a position as Network & Security Engineer for the Dutch National Police, managing network infrastructure across numerous police stations and data centers. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Information & Communication Technology from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and is pursuing advanced certifications in forensic analysis and incident response from the SANS Technology Institute.
