Ashley Young

Ashley Young has a diverse work experience. Ashley started their career as a Contributing Writer at The Hilltop from August 2014 to August 2015. Ashley then interned as a CNNPolitics.com Intern at CNN from January 2016 to April 2016. Shortly after, they joined NPR and worked as a Washington Desk Intern from June 2016 to August 2016, a Washington Desk News Assistant from August 2016 to September 2016, and an All Things Considered Producer from October 2016 to August 2017. In 2017, Ashley worked as an Online English Tutor at italki from December 2017 to July 2018. Ashley then moved on to the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) and became an Assistant Language Teacher from August 2018 to September 2021. Ashley later became a Publicist at Otter Public Relations from February 2022 to September 2022. Currently, they hold the position of a Copywriter and Content Specialist at TrendyMinds since September 2022.

Ashley Young completed their Associate of Arts (AA) degree from Seminole State College of Florida in the years 2011 to 2013. Their field of study during this time is unknown. Following their time at Seminole State College, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science at Howard University from 2014 to 2016.
