Monifa Harrison

Monifa Harrison is an experienced educator and professional with a diverse background in teaching and administration. Currently serving as a High School English Teacher at Trenton Board of Education since September 2011, Monifa also holds the position of Senior Assistant Professor of English at Mercer County Community College since 2001. Previous roles include Director of the Housing Inspection Division and Senior Systems Analyst at the City of Trenton, as well as Board President at Capital Preparatory Charter High School. Monifa's early career included teaching high school English at Camden City School District and administrative roles at Young Scholars Institute and Trenton Community Charter School. Monifa holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Hampton University.
