Eugenio Calle

Eugenio Calle has extensive experience in the forging industry. Eugenio is currently the Director of Business Development at Trenton Forging Company, a role they have held since 2020. Prior to this, they were the Business Unit Manager-NAFTA at Alcorta Forging Group from 2008-2020. During this time, they opened and established Alcorta USA, Inc. in Troy, MI and also pioneered the establishment of the first off-shore subsidiary of Alcorta Forging Group, S.A. From 2003-2008, they worked at Eberspaecher in a variety of roles. As a Commercial Engineer and Key Account Manager, they reviewed customer RFQs, established necessary BOM and manufacturing processes, obtained supplier quotes for all components, and submitted final quotes to customers. Eugenio also secured the highest-valued contract in company history up to that point and finalized a complex price reconciliation with an affiliate French company. In their role as Program Manager, they led a cross-functional team until full customer PSW sign-off and internal production buy-off. Eugenio also managed technical and commercial interfaces with component suppliers and spearheaded a continuous improvement exercise on a mid-volume, high-complexity manufacturing line.

Eugenio Calle completed a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Port Elizabeth Technical College between 1991 and 1995. In 2013, they earned their Master of Business Administration - MBA from Nelson Mandela University.
