Simon Howarth

Simon Howarth, Chief Financial Officer of Trepp, is an accomplished global executive with over twenty years of experience in the finance and project management sectors. Mr. Howarth is accustomed to working at large-scale, international organizations. He is responsible for all financial affairs at Trepp, as well as operation and administrative functions. Working extensively with the Trepp leadership team, Mr. Howarth evaluates performance and initiates growth and expansion efforts.

As a member of Trepp’s leadership team, Mr. Howarth is responsible for overseeing all investment decisions, evaluating acquisitions and partnerships for Trepp, as well as building strong collaborations across all business units both internally and externally. He also works closely with business partners to develop, plan, and execute growth strategies. Mr. Howarth has extensive experience with large-scale business transformations, and both initiates and enhances company innovation and corporate development.

Prior to joining Trepp, Mr. Howarth worked for more than 11 years at Thomson Reuters. During this time, he held several positions in the London and New York offices, most recently as Global Head of Enterprise Process Office. He also had multiple roles as an independent contractor, most recently as the Interim Head of FB&A for Clarios.

Mr. Howarth holds a BS in International Finance from City, University of London. He is also a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
