Dimitrios Chavouzis

Dimitrios Chavouzis has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Data Engineer at Tresata, where they worked on the implementation of fully automated and scalable end-to-end processing pipelines for a Fortune 500 company. Dimitrios also led a team for development of an internal project testing new features of the software on a client-like environment. Theirskills include ElasticSearch, Cloud Computing, Automation, Scala, Hadoop, Apache Spark, Data Engineering, and Scrum. In 2019, they worked as a Grader at the Davidson College Computer Science Department. In 2017, they worked as a Web Developer and Career Development Office Associate at Davidson College. As a Web Developer, they developed an application for the Biology Department to help them better organize their inventory. The code was written using JavaScript, HTML, PHP, CSS, and a SQL database. As an intern at Tresata in 2020, they were part of a team project to find and collect datasets and then forward them to the platform while always using a shared data model for processing efficiency. Dimitrios also managed, profiled, curated, and uploaded datasets to clusters using HDFS, and processed data using Scala, Spark SQL, and Zeppelin.

Dimitrios Chavouzis attended American Farm School from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a High School/Secondary Diploma or Certificate. Dimitrios then attended Davidson College from 2017 to 2021.
