Sarah Hertz Maisel

Sarah is an associate in the Insurance Practice Group. She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage analysis and litigation. She has prepared coverage opinions and position letters for insurers and has experience handling a wide variety of coverage issues involving general liability and sexual misconduct liability policies. Sarah also has significant experience in insurance defense litigation including handling matters through mediation, arbitration and trial.

Prior to joining Tressler, Sarah was an associate at a global law firm where she gained experience representing domestic and international insurers in complex coverage disputes involving sexual misconduct allegations. Sarah also previously acted as defense counsel for a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 corporations, involved in complex commercial and toxic tort litigation. She has handled all aspects of defense litigation both inside and outside the courtroom.

During law school, she held several law clerk positions and also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Raul Vega, Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois in the Domestic Relations Division. Sarah also obtained certificates in both Advocacy and Child and Family Law.
