Daniel Cortes

Daniel Cortes possesses extensive financial expertise with a career spanning over a decade in various accounting and finance roles. Currently serving as Controller at Chaleur Forest Products since November 2018, Daniel has also held the position of Mine Accountant at Trevali Mining Corporation since October 2015. Prior experience includes roles as Accountant at Savard Construction and Director of Finance at the Church of St. John & St. Stephen Home Inc. Daniel began their financial career as Financial Controller at Rockwood Transportation. Educationally, Daniel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Cape Breton University, where attendance occurred from 2004 to 2006, and graduated from Miramichi Valley High in 1998.
