Austin Walker has a diverse work experience in the field of controls engineering. Austin is currently employed at TREW as a Controls Engineer II, where they have programmed and commissioned conveyor systems and has traveled both domestically and internationally for system testing and commissioning. Austin has collaborated with various teams including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, project managers, and installers to ensure the delivery of high-quality systems to customers. Prior to TREW, Austin worked at Swisslog Warehouse & Distribution Solutions as an Electrical Engineering Co-Op in the Controls Department. Austin'sresponsibilities included constructing 3D models for automated warehouse logistics systems and integrating them with Siemens and Rockwell PLCs for real-time IO. This enabled customers to visualize the system's functionality and served as a debugging tool for other engineers. Before Swisslog, Austin was an Electrical Engineering Co-Op at NSG Pilkington. Austin led multiple projects involving the development of tank-level monitoring systems and integration of barcode scanners for quality control. Austin'srole included PLC programming, HMI design, project management, and working with safety PLCs and devices under the guidance of a senior engineer.

Austin Walker attended the University of Cincinnati from 2015 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Austin also completed a minor in Robotics and Automation during their time at the university.
