Claire Merrill

Claire joined Trewstar in 2021 from Columbia Law School, where she designed and implemented streamlined procedures and systems to support the diverse faculty in areas of recruitment, hiring, retention, and data management. As a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional, Claire is driven by a passion for understanding others’ strengths and interests as they relate to organizational goals.

Claire graduated with high honors from Wellesley College and has a master’s degree in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University Teachers College. She also has a Business Certificate from Columbia University and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business. Based in New York, Claire enjoys the rich cultural life of the city with concerts, theater, and museums, especially the Morgan Library and Museum where she serves on the Young Fellows Steering Committee.
