Kate Brower

Kate joined Trewstar in 2022. Previously, she held numerous marketing and executive positions for companies within the print and digital consumer products industries. At Time Inc., she oversaw the consumer marketing launch of Sports Illustrated For Kids magazine. Under her guidance at Life, the subscription base was stabilized, profits grew, and operations were streamlined. Kate then joined The Education Center in Greensboro, NC. She rose to President and Chief Operating Officer in charge of The Mailbox books, magazines, advertising, and website before leading the company’s acquisition by Infobase Holdings, Inc. She subsequently held the position of General Manager of The Mailbox for Infobase.

Kate attended the College of Wooster and graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in liberal studies. She lived in Mexico City and worked with the United States Department of Agriculture for four years as a Spanish language specialist before attending Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where she majored in marketing and management systems.
