Alex Osei-Gyau has over fifteen years of experience in the software development industry. Alex began their career in 2004 as a Junior Web Developer for the Facilities Management Division at the University of Saskatchewan. In 2005, they moved to zu as a Senior Developer. In 2010, they joined McMillan as a Developer. In 2012, they became a Systems Architect and Partner at E-Twenty Development Inc., where they were the Project Manager for the SmartIndoor mobile app project. In 2015, they moved to KodaCloud as a Senior UI/UX Developer. In 2017, they joined LaunchFort as a Senior Full Stack Developer. Currently, they are a Senior Full Stack Developer at Trexity, where they are working with Geocoding, mapping, and routing APIs such as Mapbox, Google Maps, and Bing Maps.

Alex Osei-Gyau obtained a Bachelors in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan between 2001 and 2005. Alex also obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.), A' Level Computer Science from T.A. Marryshow Community College between 1997 and 1999. In 2009, they obtained a Zend Certified Engineer PHP 5 certification from Zend Certification.
