Brian Spencer Martin

Brian Martin CFA, PEng serves as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Intrado since December 2024, focusing on acquisition opportunities to enhance corporate strategy in the 911 call management sector. Previously, Brian was a Director and Partner at TELUS Global Ventures from October 2020 to December 2024, directing investments in companies such as Eseye, Miovision, and Swift Navigation. Brian has held multiple board positions, including roles at Raven Connected, Aware360, and Trexity. As Principal at Vanedge Capital from February 2014 to October 2020, Brian managed investments with top-performing metrics and developed investment technology tools. Earlier experience includes serving as Managing Director at Performance Capital Advisors and Chief Security Officer at BC Hydro, where Brian established security policies for the electrical system. Brian holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta.
