Aayush Poddar

Aayush Poddar is an ML Quantitative Researcher at Trexquant Investment LP since May 2023, focusing on the development of market-neutral trading signals based on statistical and logical research. Previous experience includes roles as Advisor and Senior Quant Researcher at Quant Club, IIT Kharagpur, and participation in the Amazon Machine Learning Summer School in 2022. Aayush has also worked as an Analytics Intern at Tata Insights and Quants, where time series forecasting was conducted, and as a Logistics and Operations Research Intern at Tata Steel, where an effective transportation scheme was devised. Leadership roles include serving as Secretary for both the Financial Engineering Program and Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall of Residence at IIT Kharagpur, as well as being a Core Member of the Kharagpur Data Analytics Group. Aayush is pursuing a dual degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Financial Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, expected to graduate in May 2024, with prior notable academic achievements at DAV Public School Bistupur and St. Mary's English High School.
