Longtao Han

Longtao Han is an experienced software developer at Trexquant Investment LP since September 2018, with a robust background in computational research. Previous roles include serving as a research assistant at both Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory and Institute for Advanced Computational Science at Stony Brook University, focusing on theoretical research and simulation in plasma nanosynthesis mechanisms, as well as performing molecular dynamics simulations and DFT calculations. Additionally, Longtao worked as a teaching assistant at Stony Brook University, where responsibilities included tutoring for an engineering course and conducting research on Nafion membrane modifications for enhanced fuel cell performance. Longtao holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science with a focus on Computational Physics/Chemistry from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from Beihang University.
