Matthew Rodriguez

Associate Environment Artist at Treyarch

Matthew Rodriguez has work experience as an Associate Environment Artist at Treyarch starting from April 2020. Their responsibilities included creating props, trims, decals, and LOD's within tight deadlines. Matthew also collaborated with art leads and level designers for prop specification and artistic direction. Additionally, they optimized props, trims, and LOD's by fixing their geometry and UV's and ensuring they were PBR correct.

Prior to that, Matthew worked as an Environment Artist at Visual Concepts from March 2019 to December 2019. In this role, they created and developed high-quality set pieces, props, and weapons as directed by the Lead Artist. Matthew also ensured that the textures and models were consistent with the defined visual style. Matthew also set up rigs and greybox scenes to establish size and tone for the outsource art team.

Matthew Rodriguez attended the University of Silicon Valley from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Art degree in Game and Interactive Media Design.
