Ryan Weafer

Ryan joined Trez Capital in May 2019 as Associate, Credit Risk & Underwriting. In August 2020, he was promoted to Senior Associate, Portfolio Management. In May 2022, he was promoted to Associate Vice President, Portfolio Management. In his role he structures and executes Trez Capital’s various private equity real estate offerings.

Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked at a private equity real estate investment firm as an analyst on the acquisitions team before making an internal move to the asset management team. He was responsible for engineering value across a multi-million square foot portfolio of industrial, office, retail, and residential real property assets.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Honours from the University of British Columbia in the Real Estate specialization. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Ryan sits on the board of Kite Vancouver, a local not-for-profit that helps university students launch and sustain social development initiatives.
